  This is Susanna.

Her sister Natalie is a photographer as well, so Susanna is a pro at posing and smiling and generally being amazingly patient and long suffering.

Usually when I take pictures of people, it somehow always ends up being at rather inconvenient, high-noon-bright-sun times of day. But today, we were able to chase down some awesome late afternoon light.

Kerilynn came too :)

This girl sure has awesome eyes.

Tramping around downtown Oregon City with a camera is pretty sweet. It's urban and raggedy and there are lots of cool walls.

I am a huge fan of this purple wall.

Susanna was a beautiful model and a good sport.

Yay for reflecty-ness :)

On top of the city.

  1. You are one super amazing photographer, Hadley! Such stunning photos! I love the photo of your reflection in Susanna's eye. Simply amazing!

  2. These are beautiful pictures, love them...and that purple wall...AWESOME! Susanna is adorable! *NEW FOLLOWER*

  3. You`re Great! In faxt maybe the greatest photography i have ever seen!
I really Like the eye pic!

  4. Great pictures! What kind of camera and lenses do you use? Oh, and what editing software? :)

  5. Madeline, I have a Nikon D3000, and for these picures I used a Sigma 30mm F1.4 (which I highly recommend!). I use a Windows editing program built into my comptuer, and sometimes Picnik. Thanks for commenting! :)

  6. These are so happy and natural! Too cute; you have a real talent for capturing life and facial expressions. =)

Question; how did you make you blog button? Is there a tutorial you could clue me in on? Thanks so much!
