Beka

This is Beka.

and she's gorgeous. :)

The best photoshoots, at least for me, are always the spontaneous ones.

The oh-my-gosh-it's-so-sunny-we-have-to-run-outside-like-crazy-people-and-get-pictures kind.

These were the first real sun pictures I've taken this year. I've been craving this kind of light all winter.

 Seriously, isn't this light yummy?

This is Molly. :) She innocently photo bombed about half the pictures I took.

Just so you all know, Beka is the best.

She makes the best mango smoothies and she's very good at spoiling people. .

And she's awesome for taking pictures.

I like her :)

Um.

Yeah. That's Beka. :)

Springyish

I am very much ready for winter to be over.

I want shorts and flipflops and sprinklers-under-the-trampoline weather.

I don't think the rest of the world is though.

#randommarchsnow.

(hashtags rock. Even when there technically is no point in doing them for a blog post)

One of the best things about spring is seeds coming up.

They're so little and hopeful, and for some reason I want to name them. I feel like they deserve some recognition for all the ground-breaking and growing they're doing.

I'm naming them all Neo. No, it's not nerdy.

Primroses :)

These flowers are the coolest because they start blooming in February, before it's even rational for most plants to start thinking about emerging at all.

 Flower bokeh. :)

They rock.

....so does Gus. <3

Susanna

  This is Susanna.

Her sister Natalie is a photographer as well, so Susanna is a pro at posing and smiling and generally being amazingly patient and long suffering.

Usually when I take pictures of people, it somehow always ends up being at rather inconvenient, high-noon-bright-sun times of day. But today, we were able to chase down some awesome late afternoon light.

Kerilynn came too :)

This girl sure has awesome eyes.

Tramping around downtown Oregon City with a camera is pretty sweet. It's urban and raggedy and there are lots of cool walls.

I am a huge fan of this purple wall.

Susanna was a beautiful model and a good sport.

Yay for reflecty-ness :)

On top of the city.
